    Chances are, the larger your business, the bigger the mountains of paperwork and admin that are necessary when closing deals and taking orders. But that doesn’t mean your sales teams should be tied to desks in the office.

    In modern business, your sales team cannot always expect clients to come to them. And while the internet and ecommerce has made it easier to take orders and work with clients at a distance, securing that initial contract can often require off-site meetings and travel.

    In many industries the travelling sales rep is still the cornerstone of business, visiting distant outlets to share samples, check stock levels and build productive relationships. And each client visit can result in plenty of admin to capture information and, hopefully, seal the deal with a signed contract. 

    Less time spent travelling back and forth to the office to carry out this necessary admin can mean more time meeting new or existing clients, closing deals and taking orders. Plus the right suite of apps and digital workflows can reduce the need for some of those face-to-face meetings while increasing the speed of the deal, by completing more tasks remotely and in real time – even signing that carefully prepared contract on the dotted line.
